So, I registered my blog, at least I hope that I actually registered it. There was a confusing issue with the URL so anyway, I am crossing my fingers at this point.
So, how can a blog be used in my professional development?
I think that any time one reflects is is an enlightening experience. A blog could serve as a record of successful and less than successful strategies that have been used. It could serve record methods or ideas from other teachers. It could also function as a tool to request answers or help from friends and professional throughout the world.
How can I use a blog in my future classroom?
A blog could be a wonderful place to clarify class assignments. It could provide a means to assign work on snowdays. It would be an effective medium in which to display examples of exceptional student work. I can imagine a blog greatly enhancing the instructors ability to communicate with students outside the classroom with exchanging personal contact information as well.
I think that I'm honestly buying in to blogging. I can't say that I felt that way a week ago.
Scott, I was beginning to think that the blogging experience is something that we will all benefit from, something that I began buying into less than a week ago. I look forward to sharing and recieving ideas and lessons learned.
ReplyDeleteHi Stephanie!!! You know, I was skeptical but I am beginning to see how useful blogging could be. I really like that I can chat with people here when I haven't had the opportunity to talk to in person yet. See you in class!!!!
